Dropdown doesn't display while plugin: "Groups" is active

There are some interaction-related issues between qTranslate-X and Groups. While Groups is active the Language Switcher dropdown wont display. I’ve tried playing around with some configurations in Groups, but none seems to fix the issue. I’m well-aware, that this issue might be more related to Groups rather than qTranslate-X.
