I have created a couple forms so far and everything works. But when I try to add a dropdown to one of my forms, it just sits and spins when trying to save the form. If I cancel out after a few minutes (close the browser after 5 minutes), then go back in, none of my changes saved. I can add other fields (so far) without issues… it just seems to be the dropdowns. I’ve even tried adding a dropdown without adding any of my options, etc.

I have the latest plugin version and 3.8.1 wordpress. No error messages popup, it just sits with the “wait” spinner.

Send me a demo account of your website, this way I can fix the problem fast. Most probably you have 404 error in WordPress admin-ajax.php request. I noticed this happen sometimes when using PHP version 5.4+ where html input are not properly encoded. Below is my email address if you need further more assistance.

Unfortunately I am not allowed to give any access to our site. If you can suggest some things for me to look at, that may help.

Also, another thing I noticed was that I tied to create a custom thank you message and noticed a couple things. The styling of the text is very difficult. The styles I created seem to not apply, I was only able to get the text to use the correct font by updating your guiform.css file. Another thing I noticed was that on a form that has many fields, the custom thank you window “breaks”. Any of my forms with smaller amount of fields, I am able to update the custom thank you text without issues.

Final note (just a tiny cosmetic change) is that the word “default” throughout the plugin is spelled incorrectly. I’m seeing it spelled “defualt”

Thanks for the great plugin. It definitely makes things easier.

Thanks for the quick update. I just updated and began testing. Even though you didn’t mention the dropdown, I went ahead and tested anyway. Unfortunately it still “hangs” on the spinner when trying to save.

I also noticed that I can no longer see the details of the entries people have made using the forms. At first I thought the data was lost, but I am still able to export to the csv (and receive the emails)… so the data is still there. Just unable to view the details/information via wp-admin.

Also, I was now able to update my custom thank you message on the form that had many fields. I will continue to test and let you know what else I see/find.

    Thanks again

Please check version 1.4.10 and test the dropdown field if it still “hangs” on the spinner when you save. I also fix the view entry details. Thanks for supporting GuiForm plugin.
