Dropdown menu behind slide show in Explorer 8

    I’m sorry if this is a dumb question, but I’m not completely conversant in CSS. In IE8 the drop down menu goes behind the slide show and I want it on top. How do I get the slide show behind my navi dropdown? It works find on my Mac browsers. I’ve tried changing z index but maybe I don’t get it…

    Phew, I tried everything and this is what finally worked:

    For my nav wrap: absolute and z-index: 99999
