Dropdown menu for categories?

That would probably be possible but you’d need to do some custom coding.

BTW, you can add th search form to pages manually by using the shortcode [event_search_form].

Ok thanks. I just added that code and the search appears, but when I choose a category from the dropdown menu, the calendar reloads but still shows *all* events, not just the events in that category. Any idea why?

And, any way to modify that search code so that it only shows the “category” dropdown, and not all the other search fields?

I think search form will not work on WP FullCalendar at the moment although might be possible by custom php coding but am afraid that I cannot help you with that since I haven’t tried it yet.

why not activate the category filter that comes with WPFC? e.g. in https://demo.wp-events-plugin.com/calendar/

If you go to Events > Settings > General > Full Calendar Options do you have Override calendar on events page? selected?

should be under wordpress admin settings > wp fullcalendar > Post Types > choose “Events (event) – powered by Events Manager” > then ticked event-categories
