When I embed a youtube video in a page with the [video] tag, the items in the secondary menu’s dropdown list will be hidden/invisible behind the video. Any solution for this?

Can you send a link? I can’t recreate this issue,

I just went to the site again to copy-paste you the URL when all of a sudden… it works! Guess what. I tried it this time in my default browser (Firefox 25.0) and it works fine. The dropdown menu is over the youtube video, as it should be. I did try it with Opera 17.0 before (my secondary browser, where I am logged in with another user into my WP site) and it doesn’t work there. So it seems to be an Opera issue.

Anyway, here is the link (as bitly to not spam the forum):

BTW, you’ll see the first menu item has 6 elements. The 6th won’t show in Opera as it is under the youtube video. In Firefox it is over the youtube video.

Tested meanwhile on different OS/browser combinations (incl. the latest IE10 on Win8Pro). Only Opera (v17) has this problem, hence irrelevant for me and “solved”. Thanks.

Problem solved for Opera (and any other browser that might have this problem) by adding “&wmode=opaque” to the iframe src attribute of any embedded youtube video.

This will help also if your lightbox images get hidden behind the iframe.
