    Hello,
is there a way I can make the dropdow menu appear in two or more rows
    – more rectangle than square shape –
I have some 20 subpages and they stretch almost all the way down to the footer when I hover over the main page.
It would be awesome if there is a way to fix that..

    ..also, I’m loving the theme!

  • Hey,
So a dropdown menu like that with columns is an option in the premium theme but unfortunately it’s not with the free theme. Sorry. You might be able to find a free plugin that adds a menu menu style dropdown

There is no way to add a suitable CSS?

If not, could you tell me how to get rid of the dropdown?

There isn’t really a way to do this with css. You would need to edit the theme files in a child theme.
So you now don’t want a dropdown at all? Just remove the the submenu items or line them up with the primary menu items. (Appearance > Menus).

I’m sorry, editing was what I meant by CSS (I’ve only started learning).

I dont want to remove submenu items from the website, just to not have dropdown appear when I hover over the page where subitems are stored.

I’m not sure what you mean. Can you post a link?

It’s in localhost, not sure how to present it here.

I want only to remove dropdown (which appears when I hover over the main page) from the website, if there is no way to make it appear in 2 rows.

I want to keep the subpages and access them some other way, just not have dropdown menu.

I hope I made it understandable now, thank you for your patience.

So you just need to remove them from your primary menu. You can do this in Appearance > Menus. Then you can create a separate menu for your submenu items. Have you tried using the secondary navigation? You could also add a menu to your sidebar or footer.

I already have a separate menu for them.

    Image 1

    Image 2

You can see there are many many (21) subitems who make the dropdown menu go all the way down to footer and it doesnt look good.

I have menu icons who link to all 21 subpages on my website so I need to not have dropdown appear when I hover over ‘Proizvodi’.

    (@vnelle)

I already have a page for all 21 of them.
    Here

But the dropdown menu is too long, goes all the way to the footer and looks bad.

I want to get rid of the dropdown menu – to stop it from appearing when hovered over ‘Proizvodi’.
I will access all those 21 subpages via menu icons.

As I said above, you just need to delete the sub menu items from your primary menu in Appearance > Menus. If you open the menu item drop down on the bottom right there’s a Remove button.

Ahh, so simple I feel dumb.

    Thank you Hannah
