Dropdown menu styling

  • Hello,

    I am trying to get a stylish dropdown menu, so it looks similar to the main menu.

    1) I have changed the font size and style, which helped a lot
    2) Trying to get the transparent background, but I cannot find the way how to do it
    3) Looking for other tips from experienced users to make it look stylish, simple, elegant and still preserve the good functionality.

  • I had issues with this too. I set a background color for the top items and rounded the corners but I couldn’t do this on the drop downs. They were just in a square box. The drop downs should have the same flexibility as the top menu items.

    Hello,

    You can style your menu dropdown in the customizer section.

    Go to Customize > Header > Menu > Dropdown Styling and set background color with transparency.

    For the font setting, go to Customize > Typography > Main menu – Dropdown

    Add some CSS as per your need and you can achieve what you want.

    Thank you very much! I will try the things through Customizer and let you know.

    I have follow up question under Dropdown Styling, I notice that we can only adjust the Width(px) under Customize > Header > Menu > Dropdown Styling/

    How about the option to adjust the Height(px) of the submenu items from the Main menu as an example sent by micwie above screen shot https://prnt.sc/kzzjgf. In this example how do we adjust the height difference of the COLLECTION to the submenus namely SUBMENU1 TEST, SUBMENU2 TEST and SUBMENU3TEST?

    I’m having an issue with the dropdown menu appearing too far below the menu. I can’t seem to find where to adjust this option. Help appreciated!
