Dropdown menus broken when adding shortcodes via the Add IDX Shortcode button

    When trying to add shortcodes to a page using the Add IDX Shortcode button all of the dropdown menus are broken.

    When clicking the Add IDX Shortcode button it pops up the options window as usual and I can select a widget (IMPress Property Showcase in this example), but then whenever I try to use a dropdown from the popup window it doesn’t appear. If I close out of the popup the dropdown appears. Its almost as if the select inputs z-index is off.

    I’m on a Mac using 10.11.5 and it happens in all browsers, Chrome, FF, Safari.

    What theme are you using and does your theme use a visual composer plugin? Some themes have applied CSS to the admin panel and can cause conflicts with our shortcode pop up.

    After some more testing it appears to be a conflict with Advanced Custom Fields. When ACF is active it breaks the dropdown.

    I will mention this to our developers to see if there is anything we can do in our plugin to work around the issue

    I added the Advanced Custom Fields plugin to my testing environment as was unable to replicate the issue. This may be more specific to your theme and plugins than we can make an exception for.

    I’m also having an issue with this … once I deactivate ACF pro the IDX shortcodes dropdown menus finally appear

    It does sound like there might be a JS conflict happening with ACF Pro. However, I noticed this post is a few months old. So, you might try updating to the latest version of each plugin to see if the issue persists.
