    Hi There,
We installed “FedEx WooCommerce Extension (Basic)” from XAdapter.
However, WooCommerce asked for a single ZIP code (origin) for shipping ALL our products.
The problem is that some of our products will come from different countries, so we need the ability to set a different ZIP/postal code for each product.
Can this be done through setting different “Shipping Rules” for each product?
Or do we need a different plug-in? I’ve searched high and low for videos or docs (even with “Dropshipping” as the topic) but can’t seem to find any tutorials that explain how to do this.
I did find an old plug-in called “FedEx Drop Shipping Pro” from IgniteWoo that would work, but it is no longer available.
If anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Kyledparsons,

We do have an addon using which the “Ship From” address can be changed based on the destination address.

Our team provides the addon to our premium version customers only. Unfortunately, the basic version will not work with the addon.

    Hi XAdapter,

So just to be clear, if we purchase the premium version (“WooCommerce FedEx Shipping Plugin with Print Label”), it will allow us to change the “Ship From” address for each individual product?

    Hi @kyledparsons,

If you are looking for a multi-vendor scenario, then you need to use the free Multi-vendor addon plugin along with the premium version. Then each vendor will have some products assigned to her/him. If those products come into the cart, then the ship from address will change to the vendor’s ship from address.

If the case is similar, this should work for dropshipping also.
    Hope that is clear!

    Hi XAdapter,

Are you referring to a multi-vendor addon plugin from WooCommerce or from XAdapter?

We already have the following multi-vendor plugin installed from WooCommerce:

    **************************
    “WooCommerce Product Vendors”

“Set up a multi-vendor marketplace that allows vendors to manage their own products and earn commissions. Run stores similar to Amazon or Etsy.”
    **************************

So does this mean that if we install the premium version from XAdapter, then when products come into the shopping cart, it will automatically use the “Ship From” address of the vendor?

    Hi @kyledparsons,

In order for the multi-vendor scenario to work, along with the WooCommerce Product Vendors plugin, you will need to have our FedEx plugin and our Multi-vendor free addon : https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/multi-vendor-add-on-for-thirdparty-shipping/

Once you configure the multi-vendor properly, yes, it will use the “Ship From” address of the vendor.

    Hi XAdapter,

I just realized that using a different “Ship From” address for each Vendor will not work.

This is because we need the ability to have a different “Ship From” address for each individual product.

Does the XAdapter “WooCommerce FedEx Shipping Plugin with Print Label” allow us to enter a different “Ship From” address for each individual product?

    Thanks

    Hi Kyledparsons,

The ship from address is tied to the vendor in case of multi-vendor functionality.

Unfortunately, we do not have an option to change the “Ship From” address for each individual product.

    OK, thanks for clarifying!
