I thought Imsanity used to have the option to scan existing images for which ones could be resized and then you could select them (or not). Now I don’t see that option anymore. I don’t want to run a bulk resize sight unseen. Also, in the Imsanity settings, it says you can resize them via Media Library list view. I don’t see anything in the Media Library list view that pertains to Imsanity or resizing (other than using the default WordPress “edit image”).

Your memory isn’t failing you ?? In the past, Imsanity forced you to use selective resizing, with no way to just resize everything. But of course, lots of folks like to have more control over the process, so that was moved to the Media Library, where you can simply click Resize for every image you want. It’s much quicker this way too than the old “scan, choose, submit” process.

If you don’t have an Imsanity column in your Media Library list view, check the Screen Options tab at the top to see if it is disabled.
Otherwise, check any plugin you have that might be altering the columns that are displayed in the library.

Yes! I have an Admin Column plugin that was hiding the Imsanity button in the Media Library. Thanks for replying!

    You’re very welcome, enjoy!

Ok, I have two plugins altering the way images are shown in ther media list. However, having them activated or not the Imsanity column ist shown.

BUT it displays only the Image dimensions like “1544w x 500h”. Ther is no link or anything else which would lead me to a way to resize theese images.

Am I looking at the wrong place?

    Ok, I figured it out.

Honestly and to my shame I didn’t expect your plugin to be that smart ??

The resize button only shows up, if the image exceeds the pixels for width and height given in the settings.

Excellent peace of software. Thumbs up!
