I have a little question about the European data protection regulation.
    Is your plugin DSGVO-/GDPR- compliant?
Is it possible that IP addresses or other data of the visitors are stored? Or is only a cookie stored that identifies the user?
I’m not sure how your Top10 plugin works.
That’s why I wanted to ask.

The plugin doesn’t store IP addresses or use cookies. All that is does it take a look to see if the page is loaded and update the count.

You can see the data the plugin stores in the wp_top_ten and wp_top_ten_daily tables in the database.

I can’t comment about compliance on the plugin as GDPR compliance as you know is painfully complicated.

Oh yeah. Painfully complicated in any case. ??

But you answer was very helpful. And I also believe that your plugin is in any case compliant. Because no data is collected from visitors. Therefore, safe.
    Many Thanks ??

That’s what I expect as well to be honest. I had plans on some other implementation for unique visitors, but need to think about how it can be implemented in the GDPR context
