DSGVO/GDPR Comments & Subscribe

  • I have a little question to DSGVO or even GDPR.
    It is needed to comment yes a checkbox. But to subscribe to comments you also need a double opt-in. Because subscribing can be seen as a newsletter.
    Will there be a checkbox as well as a double-opt-in to subscribe with your plugin?

    Sorry. I try again differently.
    I already read that your plugin already uses the Double-Opt-In method when subscribing to comments, right?
    Then that’s already done. I had read in your description nowhere that subscribing to comments, there is a double opt-in. that’s why I was unsure.
    On your homepage is however that there is a double opt-in.

    Meanwhile, I also read that you have a so-called hook installed. Would not it be much better if you include a checkbox (consent to data processing) directly, so that you do not actually need an additional plugin.
