Hey Gautengusa,
This issue looks like it could stem from the theme and in particular a portion of CSS that is not allowing the search box to display full screen. Below are some troubleshooting steps that I would recommend that you go through in order to find out if the issue is related to our plugin, the theme, or another plugin within the backend of WordPress.
Diverse Solutions uses WordPress’ best practices to make it as compatible as possible with all themes and plugins; however, some theme and plugin authors do not adhere to these best practices recommended by WordPress which can often result in a theme or plugin conflict with our plugins. The following section provides instructions for determining if an issue you are experiencing with our plugin is caused by a theme, plugin, or hosting conflict.
1. Theme Test
The theme test will help to determine if there is some conflicting code that may be causing an issue with our product and the way it may display / function. To test this switch to a default WordPress theme as we know that the default WordPress theme is coded properly. PLEASE NOTE: You may want to create a backup of your theme / product environment as switching a theme our may cause things to change. It is always a good idea to have a point to restore to. A few examples of the default WordPress themes would be the following: twenty twelve, twenty thirteen, twenty sixteen, ETC. Now check the page in question and see if the issue is still there. Take notes if you see a difference in behavior after you have switched the theme. If this issue is still there, you will want to move on to STEP 2 in order to verify if this is related / not related to a plugin conflict. If switching out the theme solved the issue, you will want to reach out to the theme developer who created the theme and contact them for support regarding the issue that you are seeing.
2. Plugin Test
If the theme didn’t have anything to do with the issue then move on to the plugins section. There are many WordPress plugins out there and not all of them are coded nicely so let’s see if you have a plugin installed that is not playing nice. To test this section, let’s first have you disable all of the plugins besides the IDX Press plugin from Diverse Solutions. In doing this, you eliminate the problem that other plugins may be causing an issue with our product. With all of the plugins disable besides ours, take a look into the area that you were seeing an issue. Do you see a change or is the same thing happening as you saw previously? If you do see a change, you will want to enable each additional plugin 1 by 1 until you find the plugin that may be causing the issue. When you do find the plugin causing the issue, we generally recommend deleting this plugin and try to find a plugin that does the same thing as the plugin you were using. If after disabling all of the plugins you are still running into this issue, you will want to move on to step 3.
3. Hosting
For hosting, this section will mainly pertain to 3 things, 1. Caching plugin / Script in the hosting environment. 2. .HTACCESS File and 3. Juicebox Error. If you are running into any of the following issues you will want to have the support rep provide you will additional information on this issue as each issue can be very unique to a number of different terms / settings.
If after all of the above tests you are still running into this issue, you will want to get back in contact with your support rep and have them take a look to see if there is anything else that they can see on their side of things before we can send this up to our development team.
4. Theme Developer
The last thing I would check is if the theme specifically stated that it is for use / does work with the Diverse Solutions brand (IDX Press), then I would open a ticket with the web development company and have them take a further look into this issue. Most companies that offer a theme around our plugin use only the LITE version of the plugin, not the PRO which you are using. This is important because the pro has different CSS rules then the LITE version of the plugin does. Opening a ticket with the theme development company may result in them correcting or providing you will the correct code needed for the registration issue.
