If I have options like color and size, how would I save individual inventory numbers? Or should I skip the options and do each color and size as its own product?

  • Each product can have an infinite number of variations so you do not have to create new products.

    For example, here: https://dukapress.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/dukapress-gui.gif

Once you hit the “save” button under the variations, you will have finished with the “Size” and can proceed to add color or anything else.

But all of them together would go into the inventory, but lets say I have 7 smalls and 8 xls, itll say “15” but I dont know what that 15 represents per portion

I don’t understand – could you show me a link so that I see what you mean easier?

Say i am editing a product. One of the Dukapress product options” is called “Currently in stock”

There is no way to tell how many currently in stock per variation.

So lets say I have one product page that has a specific shirt. And I give it options for size, like large, small and medium. Now, I only have one parameter for “currently in stock” so if I add all the larges, smalls and mediums together and put that number in there, how will I know how many of each shirt size I have?

    Aaaaaah, Now I get you.

Currently, I am sorry to say, you cannot use DukaPress to track how many of each product variation is in stock ??

Quite honestly, we’ve not even thought of this. It would be a beautiful feature to have, though. We’ll work on this for a future release. Thank you.

For now, I’ll just do a different page per size per color, I can link them from the product page, it should work ok
