I have tried this thru a few different themes with the same result. Whenever I make a product and add the “[dpsc_display_product]” shortcode, the resulting rfrontend display ignores certain “Screen options” settings, like author and comments. It seems to be intermittent as comments come and go, but author almost always shows. On the other hand, the shortcode for gridview seems to allow “screen options” to carry thru correctly

Here is my site so far for example. You will notice that the individual product pagers show author even though I have that turned off

  • This is because the DukaPress products use a custom post type (named “duka”) whereas the place you have the Grid View is a WordPress page.

By default, WordPress uses the normal blog template (single.php in your themes’s folder) to display custom post types. Therefore, your Dukapress products look exactly the way your normal blog posts would look like. To change this you would need to create “single-duka.php” in your theme’s folder and edit it such that the author and other post meta do not show up.

I hope this is helpful. ??

    Your site looks lovely, btw.
