Dumb Sexist Bloatware

  • I’ve always just deleted this plugin, so didn’t really mind it (although its stupid to include a useless plugin by default).

    But then I noticed the kind of quotes coming up on a clients site, like
    ‘Find her an empty lap, fellas’
    is a misogynist statement, surely if ‘she’ wanted to find an empty lap, she could find it herself, or ask for one to be found herself.

    Maybe I’m taking it out of context, I don’t know the musical, but given that the quotes are completely out of any context, I think its reasonable to take them out of context.

    Please remove this from WordPress package.

  • Bloatware? It is 2.2 kilobytes and it exists for instructional (and perhaps nostalgic) purposes.

    If you don’t like the lyrics, feel free to insert your own and curtail the sanctimony. I’ve added the lyrics to Rock Lobster and Love Shack in my copy of Hello Dolly. Can you find something wrong with that?
