Dummy URL

  • I am looking for the ability to use a ‘Dummy URL’ for any file, not just images.

    I have a client that have their content on Google Drive and want to serve up the files via their WordPress. Unfortunately their client (a government office) has a firewall that blocks Google Drive.

    I need the pug-in to be able to serve-up files that reside on Google Drive, yet make it look like it is being served up from the WordPress site.

    Is there anyway to get this done?

  • Can anyone give a little assistance in finding (or creating) the dummy url once Google Drive WordPress Media is installed and up and running? Also, do dummy urls only work for images like .jpgs or do they also work for docs, .pdfs and other documents?

    Dear community, I’ve set up the google-drive-wp-media fil, I followed all the instructions to configure it with google drive. All my uploads are in google drive but unfortunately I didn’t figure out how to set up dummy url, it asks me to create the gdwpm_images folder which not exists, while it is existing, am I doing something wrong?
    Please help!!!
