Duplicate content on Blog

Thanks but I have no such lines in the .htcaccess file.

It started happening when I changed the permalinks in the blog. Originally the links were set to /blog/%postname%. I had to change it to /blog/%postname%/ because the original way broke the pagination.

Thanks though. Does my additional information spark any other ideas?

I do not fully understand how all of that works, but the effect is that search engines such as Google now see it twice or whatever. So, adding those lines to .htaccess is how to tell the search engines you really only have one copy of each…

However, you might still want or need to do some link fixing so fewer redirects might actually be needed.

My problem is I need https://www.themarketinggarage.ca/blog/2 redirected to https://www.themarketinggarage.ca/blog/.

I can’t just redirect everything after /blog/ because then I will lose my /blog/page2 (the proper pages)

Any ideas?
