Duplicate Country code

Hi there.

My current website is in production mode so wont be able to share link. I am using porto theme.

By default the currency switcher shows CAD$ and USD$ which is perfect.

I am trying to add a new currency symbol for simplicity of customers so they know which currency is active on product page but then in the currency switcher it becomes
CAD CAD$
CAD (Country code) CAD$ (My custom currency code)
Is there a way to hide it somehow or modify it…Thanks.
