Duplicate display of reviews

  • Since an earlier upgrade of the plugin for which a problem with lost reviews was fixed we have another problem.
    When on a page edit we tick
    Enable WP Customer Reviews for this page and use the shortcode [WPCR_INSERT] we only get the reviews to display by also ticking the WP Customer Reviews option under screen options BUT then we get the reviews duplicated on the page – they appear once where the shortcode is located and once at the bottom of the page. We only want the reviews where the shortcode is located. It used to work OK. This was already a problem in WordPress 4.5. 4.5.1, 4.5.2, 4.5.3
    I’ve searched and haven’t seen this posted elsewhere.

    Same here – and reached wordpress 4.7.2 now.

    Is [WPCR_INSERT] the new [WPCR_SHOW] shortcode?

    What i did for now was:
    – tick ‘Enable WP Customer Reviews for this page’
    – added shortcode with [WPCR_SHOW], something like [WPCR_SHOW POSTID=”ALL” NUM=”5″ PAGINATE=”1″ PERPAGE=”5″ SHOWFORM=”1″ HIDEREVIEWS=”0″ HIDERESPONSE=”0″ SNIPPET=”” MORE=”” HIDECUSTOM=”0″ ]

    This makes the reviews show twice. The reviews on the bottom of the page i removed with the css: .wpcr3_in_content {display: none;}

    This seemed to work OK-ish. The [WPCR_INSERT] shortcode doesn’t seem to do much…
