Duplicate emails

I discovered that I was sending out many duplicate emails. I found your support page saying that Facebook Open Graph, Google+ and Twitter Card Tags had compatibility issues. I started using that plugin to fix image issues when sharing the post to social media. Is there a recommended alternative or fix for this compatibility issue?
