Duplicate entries

  • Hi, on the competition form there is duplicate email entries coming through but you have stated:

    This plug-in does not allow multiple entries from the same email address, so you can be sure of a fair competition. However if you are not collecting an email address on your entry form, then an entry can be made multiple times.

    Hi,

    It tries to detect an email field from the field name. What have you called the contact form 7 email field you are using for the competition?

    I’ve tested this feature an can confirm it is working for me.

    Is you contact form 7 email field similar to:

    [email* your-email placeholder “Your Email”]

    It will not work like this:

    [text* your-email placeholder “Your Email”]

    Ok and if I was to change this while the competition is running will it effect anything?

    Any chance this plugin can be altered to accept multiple entries?
    Its perfect for what I need apart from that small problem – for me anyway
