Duplicate Event/Class title/permalink

    Having an issue where class names (events) are commonly duplicated on a frequent basis. The newly created class shows up on the calendar, however clicking on the event reverts back to the calendar page. Trying to find a way, code-wise, to add the date to the resulting permalink, without having to manually edit each time a ‘title’ is reused. Any suggestions appreciated.

    I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with duplicated class names in your events.

    Regarding the issue with the permalinks, one possible solution could be to use a plugin such as “Custom Permalinks” to add the date to the permalink structure.

    Another option could be to modify the code of your theme or the Events Calendar plugin to automatically include the date in the permalink when a new event is created.

    However, please keep in mind that modifying the code can be risky and should only be done if you have experience with coding and have made a backup of your site.
