"Duplicate" Event does not copy all information

I am using the “Page Links to” plugin (Version 2.7.1 | By Mark Jaquith). I am having my Events link to the description page I’ve created using this plugin. When I duplicate and event it does not copy the alternate URL link. It also does not always copy the Categories. Can you tell me why or how to fix it?
