Duplicate existing popup

    Hi, I’m using popups made with popup maker to show an external url inside the popup when customers click on a button (made with maxbuttons).

    Since every product needs the button to point to a different external url (and therefore open a different popup, I have to make over hundred popups that are basically the same, exept the url they are pointing to.

    It may sound silly but I just can’t find a possibility to duplicate the popup, so I could just change the url, instead of creating a new popup from scratch. How can I do that?

    @gianni333 – Simpler solution is a custom shortcode that renders meta info from the current page/product. Then add a field in the product editor to save a url.

    In the shortcode render the contents using the current products saved URL.

    Results in only 1 popup for thousands of products that way ;).

    Hope that helps. In any case there are half a dozen decent plugins that can duplicate a post, they work for popups as well.

    Thanks, I will check for plugins to duplicate the pop ups.

    The shortcode would be the perfect solution for me, unfortunately I’m not really into coding so I can’t make my own shortcodes.
