Duplicate Footnote Issue

  • I currently have an issue with my footnotes after them working fine for months. It may be a plugin issue but I have deactivated them all other plugins to test and the issue persists. The footnote lists each footnote twice and the numbers in the text start from the second footnote number.

    1. Footnote A
    2. Footnote B
    3. Footnote C
    4. Footnote A
    5. Footnote B
    6. Footnote C

    The text would then have the footnotes listed using the numbers 4, 5 and 6.

    Any support you can offer is appreciated. More than happy to give you access to my site for review.

    Hi Jon, I’d be happy to take a look. Is there a page I can see with the issue present? And can you confirm what version of Easy Footnotes you’re using?

    Hi Jason, hope it was ok to do that. My site uses a members plugin to restrict access. I’m using Version 1.1.4 of Easy Footnotes. Thanks.
