    Hi,

    Started using your plug-in this week for our new podcast. I found it to be a great, easy to use tool.

    The problem is, it seems to work too well. After it does the import of the latest episode, it then imports the episode again to a separate new post.

    Is there a way to not have this happen? Or, can the post be listed as “pending admin approval” first?

    Thanks for using our plugin and for reaching out!
    Could you please share the RSS feed URL used to import the posts?

    Also, note that you can import the posts as a draft (you’ll need to modify the publishing option when creating a new import process) but in any case, duplicated posts is an issue that shouldn’t happen, and we’ll look into this!

    Thanks for sharing the feed URL.
    I’ve tried to import it to a dev environment but couldn’t reproduce the issue (the episodes were only imported once)

    Are you using the latest version of the plugin?
    Also, what happens when you try running the import process one or two times again?

    It’s showing version 1.0.1. Working in WordPress v5.2.3.

    The first import was done on Tuesday. I formatted the post, retitled, and added forum friendly cover art. About an hour later, the import happened again.

    The second import was on Wednesday. Again, I formatted, etc… Several hours later, the import happened again.

    Did you change the title of the post on both occasions?
    Basically the title is one of the values that are being checked when the plugin determines whether to import the post or not.

    There should also be a GUID value, which should be handling this better, but perhaps it didn’t work well in your case. I’ll make sure we check that part further.

    Yes, I did change the titles. The imported posts didn’t include the name of the podcast.

    Alright – we found an issue that caused the guid to not be imported during the cron/scheduled imports. (so changing the titles was enough to trigger the new import)

    We’ll make a few tests and hopefully release a fix in the next few days!

    Thanks for leaving the 5 star review, it’s much appreciated.

    We’ve updated the plugin, so please update the plugin to 1.0.2 and try again.
    (You may need to delete the existing posts and import everything once again for it to fully work as expected)

    Quick update: The previous podcast episodes were imported again last night. I switched them to private mode rather than deleting them to see if that would help.

    Thanks for the update.
    As mentioned in the previous email, you will need to delete the previously imported episodes, and import again. This should never happen again, so considering you only have a couple of episodes, it shouldn’t be too much to worry about.

    We’ve changed the way unique posts are identified, so the first two episodes you’ve imported would just need to be re-imported.

    Let us know if it does work though!

    It’s been almost two days since the latest post was pulled. So far, no duplicate posts have surfaced.

    Also, the previous posts have not been imported again either.

    Sorry to be a bother again. I’ve been waiting several days now for the latest episode to load into the blog. That has yet to happen. It was released last Wednesday morning. Your plugin usually imports the info between 5-6pm.

    This morning, I went in and deleted, then reconnected the feed. So far, nothing.
