Think I’ve gotten deeper into the issue. It’s not post type related. I changed it back to posts and is was still happening. What I found is the posts are not fully published. They don’t show up on the front-end until I manually navigate into one and click update. Once manually published they show up on the front-end and the plugin no longer creates new posts of tweets already imported. What would cause the posts not to fully publish when being imported?

Is this plugin no longer supported?

    Hi kevin98lude,

Sorry for delayed. It is importing duplicate tweets because you have not set the “Tweets Default Status” as publish in plugin settings. Please set the “Tweets Default Status” as publish and check.

    Thanks.

So there is no way to block duplicate imports in “draft” mode. Just that I don’t want every post to show without being checked first.
