Duplicate Meta Titles using Yoast

    I have an issue with Yoast SEO title tags. We are using Ubersuggest to improve our website SEO, we are getting reports of more than one title tag on pages. We have the wp title tag within the <head> tag. When viewing the page source code, we can see this title. This is followed by a duplicate created by Yoast SEO further down the header. Does anyone know how to fix this issue, so there is only one title tag on each page?

    Hello Charlie,

    Thanks for reaching out regarding your duplicate title tags. I was able to reproduce it. By default, the Yoast SEO plugin will output the title tag when you fill in the SEO title field in the Yoast SEO metabox for the page/post.

    You mentioned using the wp title tag within the <head> tag. Is there a reason for this customization? Can you deactivate that temporarily to confirm if the issue is resolved?
