    I am still having issues with duplicate order numbers on a high traffic site after the 1.5.0 update that claims to fix those issues. Is it possible to make the plugin more robust?

    We understand your concern. However, if the server is not able to handle the load of multiple orders being placed at the same time, then it is possible that duplicate order numbers could occur.

    However, since you are experiencing the issue on your site, we will check the feasibility of addressing this issue and will get back to you soon.

    In the meantime, please make sure that your server has enough resources to handle the load of multiple orders being placed at the same time.

    Thanks for the quick reply! Could you elaborate on what you mean regarding the server not being able to handle the load?

    I am dealing exactly with the same issue. The server has enough resources to handle the traffic, but the order ID is duplicated if two or more orders are placed at the same time.

    All the plugins in the site are up to date, including core (6.2.2), WooCommerce (7.7.2) and your plugin (1.5.1).

    Additionally, I did a test in a testing installation. If the plugin is deactivated, all the custom Order IDs reverted to the original ones. Is there an option to keep the IDs after deactivating the plugin?
