    Hey,

    I have an issue where sometimes multiple orders are coming with same order number. Attached screenshot for reference.

    I am able to see from the System Status you have provided, that you have not yet updated WordPress and WooCommerce to their latest versions. I would recommend doing this as a first step and see if this makes any difference?

    Hi @aravind21,

    WC Database Version: 5.5.2

    It appears your database version doesn’t match the WooCommerce version that you have. Please consider updating your database after updating WooCommerce and WordPress and see if that helps.

    You can update the WooCommerce database from the WooCommerce → Status → Tools → Update database area.
    Also: Before you do that, please do make a full backup of your site!

    Actually the issue is not persistent. It occurs very few times. There is another environment for the site where the same issue occurs. I can see that database version for that site matches the woocommerce version.

    WC Database Version: 5.6.0

    There is no way I can be sure that the issue won’t occur again after I try updating the plugin. Is there any reason this issue occurs ?

    It is recommended to have the same database version as WooCommerce for the WooCommerce plugin to work properly. Details: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-update-woocommerce/#woocommerce-data-update-notice
    Maybe the issue you are facing is happening for another reason however, we can’t confirm that yet.

    We previously suggested updating WooCommerce, WordPress, and WooCommerce database. Can you please try doing that on a staging site and see if that helps?

    If that doesn’t then please share your WooCommerce error logs(if available) with us.
    Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs

    We haven’t heard back from you in a while, (I think that at this point you have been able to find a solution) so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
