Duplicate Photos Based on Extension

I’m testing the plugin and found that it’s possible for multiple copies of a user’s photo to be saved in their UM user ID folder. It appears that if you upload a new profile or cover image of a different extension both are kept. I uploaded photos using jpg, jpeg, png, and gif extensions and all versions were kept. Uploads of the same file extension do overwrite the existing files, e.g. jpg overwrites jpg.

If there’s a setting for this let me know. Otherwise, I thought you might want to look into this since it can increase the amount of storage being used on a customer’s server.

FYI, I tried webp but I’m guessing the plugin doesn’t allow the webp format. Again, let me know if I’m wrong.
