Duplicate “Place Order” Buttons on checkout

    I currently have another credit card processor (Moneris Canada) as my default payment method. When I add the Paypal plugin there are 2 overlapping “Place Order” buttons showing up when the customer goes to the checkout page. If I select the Paypal payment method the one disappears and the gold Paypal button appears. Then if I go back to other payment method all is correct. What can be done to correct it?

    we are aware of this issue occurring when you use our plugin when you still have the “WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Payment Gateway” plugin (the gateway can be disabled but the plugin is still active). So this situation would be not present when you deactivate this plugin (if this is the same cause as we have already identified).

    If you do not have this plugin installed, please check what other similar plugins you have installed and try the same (please let us know if this is the case).
    I tried to test it on your site, but could not replicate this situation, but I expect you have already deactivated our payment option.

    We have this bug on our list to get resolved but have not got a possible release date set for this fix.

    The Woocommerce Paypal Checkout Payment Gateway plugin was deactivated and removed from the site. The new plugin is still placing an inoperative “Place Order” button on the checkout page even when it is not selected as the payment method

    We have had some different causes for this issue, so you might have a cause that we have not identified yet.
    We would like to take a closer look at your site and want to ask you to provide some more details on your setup.     We are looking for the system report/list of plugins that have been installed to see if there is any conflicting plugin still present.

    we have a fix ready for this issue in our 1.6.3 release that will become available this month. If you want to test this before it is released you can get a beta version here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-paypal-payments/releases/tag/1.6.3-test1

    We’ve already been a Guinea pig for this very poor plugin with bad results on our site. Why don’t you pull the plugin until it is properly written. I’m astounded Woocommerce would put their name with such junk.
