Duplicate post created when publishing a post

Did you mean when you publish an article, the post will automatically be published in twos?

When I publish an article, it adds a duplicate copy of the same post in Pending Review.

So, the process is Create New Draft > Save as Pending Review > Publish

Then, that post gets published but a duplicate of that post shows up in Pending Review again. So one published version and one Pending Review post.

I figured out that it was PublishPress, so I rolled it back to version 1.3 and that fixed the problem, but it looks like it’s a bug. It would be ideal if we could restore the default WP post statuses to see if that has something to do with it, but any help would be great!

Perhaps they are not aware of the problem
