    Hello,

    I’ve created a custom post type named “Tours” and i created 4-5 tours. Is there any way to duplicate a tour in order to use it as new?

    Hi,

    This is AJ the theme author. This plugin doesn’t have a built-in function for duplicating posts as that would be introducing added bloat that most people may not need. There are other plugins out there specifically for this.

    If you are using my Total theme though I would highly recommend creating a Dynamic Template this way you can control your design globally and there is no need to duplicate your page.

    I’m thinking that perhaps the reason you want to duplicate the Tours is because you’ve created them using a page builder and want to easily replicate them. The problem with this is if you create a bunch of Tours and you ever want to modify them you need to manually edit every single one. Instead if you create a dynamic template and assign it to your Tours post type you can always modify all of them from a single place!

    Hello AJ,

    Yes i am using total theme but i made the template from wp-bakery. When the site developed the latest total version was 5.6 and I think the addition of custom template under theme panel is a feature that added on 5.7 right? So i am going to update the theme to see this feature in action.

    Hi,

    You are correct, Dynamic Templates are a newer feature. If you have any issues or questions about setting up the dynamic template let me know in the ThemeForest comments so I can help.

    Some people don’t like to comment on ThemeForest if they have an expired support license – so just incase, I want to mention that this is not a concern and I will reply and help anyone that owns a license of the theme regardless of their support status!
