When my client tries to issue a refund via woocomemrce it sends out multiple refund emails to the client and the customer. The last time it sent 486 emails to the client and customer and shows the refund as ￡21,915.00 when it was only processed as ￡45. Luckily the amount refunded is correct. This has happened a few times but not on every refund. However this one is the worst as the customer has received so many emails.

They are using stripe

Hi @tamsinhewer,

It’s possible that this could be due to a cron issue. More on this here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/13963.

You could also check to see if this is a theme/plugin conflict. I understand it does not happen all the time, but you could try testing with all other plugins deactivate and theme switched to Storefront to see if it’s replicable. If you would prefer not to do testing on your live site, first make a back up of your site, then create a staging site using this plugin [WP Staging](https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/). This creates a copy of your live site where you can make tests without affecting your live site.
