• Hello and thank you,

I need to duplicate a plugin, settings and data from one site in to another.

    Example: Site 1 plugin-ads duplicate to site 2 plugin-ads

Can this be done by zipping the plugin then copy & paste the plugin in cpanel?

    Thanks
    Rick

  • Maybe. It depends on the use of the database the plugin does. Sometimes, you can do it.

Better, ask the specific plugin support team about it.

Hello, the issue is nowadays many themes & plugins writes custom tables in database. So, copying files might not work.

If copying/pasting files is not enough, well check DB with a tool like phpmyadmin, and export then import the missing tables to duplicate on a new site.

    Hope it helps,
