I have breadcrumbs disabled both in Yoast SEO and my theme settings, so the path should just show the URL slug. I recently noticed that in all of my posts, Yoast’s Google preview is showing the path twice, like:

    website.com > slug-example > slug-example

Sometimes, the first instance is missing a hyphen, meaning if I set the slug to be slug-example-2, it might look like:

    website.com > slug-example2 > slug-example-2

The actual post URL looks fine when published.

I have not made any changes to my breadcrumb settings and the Google preview shows the same thing on all of my websites. Disabling any plugins that could potentially be interfering with breadcrumbs doesn’t do anything.

I’m wondering if this is just a harmless visual glitch or if it’s being reflected in the front-end code.

Here’s an example so you can check the code: https://petcitadel.com/small-dog-breeds-that-dont-shed
