    Hello

Where are the Template Parts and Patterns duplicate stored?

I duplicated some Template parts and Patterns and looked everywhere for them…, so I am thinking they might be stored in the database?

For example, I wanted to remove the prefixin‘ from ‘hidden-post-meta‘:

<!-- wp:post-terms {"term":"category","prefix":"<?php echo esc_html_x( 'in ', 'Prefix for the post category block: in category name', 'twentytwentyfour' ); ?>"} /-->

<span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Annoyingly this prefix ‘in ‘ is also showing in Tags, and Custom fields.</span>

    Thank you

Update: I just spotted that it is possible to remove or replace the suffixin‘ by simply clicking on it. Great ??

However, I would still like to know where the Template Parts and Patterns duplicate are stored though…!

Hi @rawdolphe – that’s correct. Any duplicated patterns or template parts are written to the database – so there’s not a physical file that is generated.
