Duplicate Title and Meta Description on Date/Language/Production Archive

  • Hello,

    The plugin is perfect but you see there is no way to control the meta descriptions and titles of the three archives I have stated.

    1. Date – Domain.com/movies/date/2015
    2. Production – Domain.com/movies/production/marvels
    3. Language – Domain.com/movies/language/english

    Is there a way we can have different titles and meta descriptions for these three pages. At the moment these takes homepage’s title and meta description.

    If there is nowway to do above thing, then please guide me to put NOINDEX tag in these three archives.

  • Hi there Mr_hero,

    Meta descriptions and titles are mostly handled by the theme, so the plugin doesn’t control that part for now; depending on your settings you may have to add this to your theme’s page.php (if you set an archive page for the plugin) or archive.php (if you’re using the basic WordPress archive display). Can you share your website’s URL so I can take a look at it?
