    Hi,

    We are noticing duplicate transactions (i.e. transactions that are tracked twice) in our Google Analytics account.

    We have our own GA snippet installed in the website header and “Enable Standard Tracking” disabled in the plugin. Would this still result in a duplicate transaction if our snippet also appeared on the checkout/thank-you page?

    Additionally, what happens if a user refreshes the order thank-you page? Would this send a duplicate transaction?

    Thanks for reaching out, it’s difficult for us to say if a custom snippet will have a specific result as we don’t know the functionality or design of the snippet and how it may impact the plugin overall. If you believe this may be the cause of duplication occurring on your site we’d recommend removing the snippet to test as this should allow you to confirm whether or not it is responsible.

    Thanks for the response! The issue turned out to be a configuration error.

    I’d still be curious to know if refreshing the thank-you page re-sends the transaction or not.

    I replicated this on my test site: created a sample order and refreshed the thank you page twice. I did not get a duplicate transaction afterwards.

    I have the same issue, but I do not install a GA snippet, and still get duplicate transactions. Do not why.
