Duplicate tweets – in new tab and in popup window

I had an issue with a plugin and I had deactivated Jetpack while I was troubleshooting – the issue was nothing to do with Jetpack but was able to fix it. When I re-activated Jetpack it reconnected to my Jetpack account. Now when I click on the Twitter share button, a popup window is created with the tweet ready to be posted to Twitter but a new tab in the main window is also created with the same tweet also ready to be posted to Twitter. On other sites, only the popup window is one created. I don’t remember seeing this duplicate tweet behaviour on this site before I deactivated/re-activated Jetpack.

The same happens with the Facebook share button and the LinkedIn share button.

I have gone through the Jetpack diagnostics and it didn’t find anything. I have no other plugin that would create a tweet.

Any suggestions?
