I figured out what is happening. I use a plugin called Visual Composer and their add on called Templatera. Templates allows me to create predefined pages or snippets and then drop it into a page design as a template/snippet..

It looks like your plugin treats each template or snippet on the page as a separate post and inserts a related post list into it.

Each templatera template page has a post id. I tried entering that into the Contextual plugin exclusion list. It does not seem to want to exclude those pages.

    Any ideas?

    Hi,

That’s an interesting point. Do you know if the templatera template page uses a custom post type? If so, you could try to exclude it under Exclusion settings:

Are you entering the post IDs there as well?

Unfortunately, I’m not in a position to test this or duplicate this since the plugins are paid.
