Hi, I love the theme, I just have a small problem with the sidebar widgets.
I use the live customize option and I noticed I have 2 sets of widgets on my side bar, however in the customize section I only have 1 of each.

    sidebar:
    recent comments
    tags
    recent comments
    tags

If I remove one recent comment and one tag from the ‘customize section’ this section is now blank, however one recent comment and one tag remain on the side bar.
I have no way of removing them

    Never mind ignore this post
I think it was a sessions issue, as I woke up this morning and it is all ok.

BTW is there a way to have a sidebar on the main page and a full width page for all my posts?

    Hi @buggbugg,

I’m happy that the issue is resolved!
Hestia doesn’t have an option for a sidebar in the main page because it is designed with the frontpage sections, but you can create a normal page with a sidebar and set it as a homepage if you want.

Blog posts are already in full width and there is a guide about how to make the images full width: https://docs.themeisle.com/article/853-how-to-make-hestia-blog-images-full-width

    Hope that helps!

I don’t want the images full width I would like to remove the side bar from all posts but keep it on the front page

    Also the footer contains
    Create a tournament Customer Area
With no way to remove these in the settings

If I understand it right, you don’t want to have a sidebar on the single post pages, but you want a sidebar on the blog page. If yes, go to Customize -> Layout -> Content/Sidebar and choose your options like this: https://prnt.sc/u0squz.

Also, can you share a screenshot with the footer issue? Thanks!

The footer problem was a result of switching themes to something else them going back to Hestia and the previous themes footer being in Hestia’s footer. Fixed now by adding a footer menu then removing it also removed the excess footer stuff.

I do not see Customize > Layout in my options
