Duplicated footnotes

  • Entered following in elementor text editor:

    [efn_note]One in 20 develop ‘long Covid’, with older women most at risk. Personnel Today. 26 October 2020.[/efn_note]

    Result is that the footnote number entered into the text is 2 whereas it should be 1 (I’ve only created one footnote) and two duplicated footnotes appear at the bottom of the page.

    I’ll leave the footnote active for a day so yu can see it and then I’ll remove it as it looks poor to other users.

    Hi there, sorry for the delay. This is a known bug with Elementor and some running the_content filter more than once.
