    Hello,

I always copy/duplicate previous posts to create a new one. Recently, there are no email notifications after publishing such a post. How can I force notifications in a duplicate post?

Thank you in advance for your answer!

For this moment in the database, I delete the ig_es_is_post_notified field for this post, then I have to copy and publish it again.

    Hi there,

    Hope you’re doing well.

In regard to the above inquiry, we have some information to share with you.

Once a post has been published an id is assigned to it in the database (Flag key) that helps to admin change/edit the post without notifying the user or helps to restrict the resending of post notification of the same post.

However, I have a workaround for you!

This is a screen recording where I am showing the post notification of the duplicate post that has already been published, deleting the ID key, then changing the status to Draft from Publish and then Publishing from Draft and receiving notification again as shown in the mentioned video.

By following this surely you will receive a post notification.

Let us know how it goes on your end.

    Thank you!

I don’t know why, but I don’t have the option to enable “Custom fields” in the post preferences.

After duplicating the post and editing it, I go into the database via phpmyadmin, look for ig_es_is_post_notified entries and delete the one that has the ID of the specific post. Then it can be published and everything works.

    Thank you for your help!
