After migrating to my live server, the registration and lost password function are sending duplicate emails and in the case of registration, double entry into the users. Both entries with exactly the same information. I was able to activate one of the two entries using the code from the e-mail. Didn’t try the other code. Login and logout work fine. The database looks ok, except for the duplicate user entries.

I checked the registration page and it only contains a single instance of the registration short code [wppb-register]. Not sure how to debug at this point. I can’t see how this fucntion is getting executed twice.

    Any suggestions?

    Update:

Lost password still sends 2 emails at the same time. Registration is now OK. I removed and adjusted two caching plugins that may have had some bearing on the issue. I also removed the lost password short code from the login page and moved it to a separate page.

I’m using Total Cache plugin with only the page and browser caching turned on. I turned them off and still recieved 2 emails

    Hello @rick9004,

How did you add the shortcodes inside the page ? Did you use the WordPress Content Box or a Page Builder ?

    Let me know !

    Regards.
