I duplicated a page in wordpress (product page woocommerce) and now when i edit it, it shows the existing keywords used in Squirrly Live Assistant. If i hover over the keyword there is an X at the right to remove it. I click the X and it is removed. I click update and then i save the page (Save Draft). When i reload the page, the keyword remains there.

How do i remove the keyword for this page permanently?

    ??Hi,

Please update Squirrly SEO to the latest version 12.3.23 where we added an update that will remove the keyword from SLA if it’s deleted from the Briefcase.

Please give it a go and let us know if you face any further diffculties.

So is it safe to say that this will not work for existing duplicated pages, but will work for any future duplicate pages as i am still unable to delete keywords from previously duplicated urls, however any new pages or products i duplicate, the existing keywords are all removed.

It looks like the update we made it also created some unexpected issues for another feature of ours. We’ll keep investigating the matter to see what else can be done.

Thank you for your understanding and patience!

We were able to keep the latest update, however, due to the issues it created we will keep it like this.

For the previous keywords that you weren’t able to remove please let us know what are the posts where they are assigned and we’ll try to remove them from the Cloud.

    Hey Peter.

Its not really a bother as i was getting used to it. Just would like future newly created pages and products to not carry over the old keywords. No biggie, just wanted to make sure you were aware of this as it might bother others and seems unprofessional.

Thank you for your understanding, it’s really appreciated! We do understand your situation and see how it can be troublesome, so we’ll keep it in the backlog and think for a better solution for future updates.
