    Hello,

There appears to be an issue with the Glossary Archive when the keyword appears in the summary:

As you can see here in the first image the Acquiescence summary starts to repeat, having picked up Acquiescence in the summary, if I disable Glossary Archive (and therefore the keyword being picked out) you can see in the second image the summary works as it should.

Ideally I’d like to be able to have this enabled in the glossary archive as some summaries contain links to other terms and it’d be nice for them to work. (however they do work fine when clicked through to view the term)

Apologies but our site sits behind a passpharse I can’t share, so you won’t be able to view in situ (hopefully the above image is enough to explain the issue) and we have few plugins that could be causing an issue here and it’s occurred across templates so fairly confident in ruling those out too.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,
seems that the plugin is executed twice in the page.

Usually this happens with page builders that changes the normal wordpress flow on the page rendering.

We can’t give further support as we don’t have access to the website, also in these cases is required an admin access, and we support that only for premium users.

Infact we provide some shortcodes https://docs.codeat.co/glossary/shortcodes/#ignore-terms-premium that can be enabled in the theme or in other situations to avoid those problems.

I disabled all other plugins and switched to the default twenty seventeen theme (the only backup theme I keep installed) and the issue still occurs (and is, in fact, worse as it’s triplicated instead of doubled).

So I’m not sure how this could be anything other than the plugin itself at fault.

I’m actually in the process of talking my manager in to purchasing the plugin (he’s interested in the alphabetical list along the top) however it’s a hard sell when there’s an evident bug on the test page he’s looking at.

This is very strange as you can see in our archive demo the issue is not happening https://demo.codeat.co/glossary/wiki/.

Without getting access to the website with an admin user I am not able to give more debug ideas and we offer that only on the premium version with the premium support.

Maybe there is some caching in the website?
