duplicator install, stuck at the step 2: server code 200, status ok internal err

I apear to be having a similar problem. I have tried migrating 2 sites over to my test server on Heart Internet multiple times with Duplicator 1.3.10 and they both stop after Step 1 with just a white screen with the URL https://ny-url/dup-installer/main.installer.php

I tried running an older Duplicator package (ver 1.2.52) install on another test site and that worked fine.

Is this a problem with Duplicator 1.3.10 ?

I did some more tests and found the problem occurs with Duplicator 1.3.4 and 1.3.10 but not with 1.2.52.

Then I found the problem !

In STEP 1 options in 1.3.x the default extraction is now set to “Shell Exec Unzip” – change Extraction option to “PHP ZipArchive” and it works.

You don’t need to downgrade. Run installer.php and when it shows the “STEP1” panel, open “options” at the bottom and change “Extraction” option to “PHP ZipArchive” and it should work.

too late, i’ve already deleted all the files on the server to try another installation with a zip made on earlier version, but now i’m stuck with another problem: “Error establishing a database connection” but no file is there (in the sub map), unless de zip and the installer.php

Can you help me please?
